You may have noticed the WeOS logo appearing next to some of our products and wondered what it meant.

 

WeOS is the acronym for Westermo Operating System. This is our very own firmware that is being used for developing our newer product ranges and will also be used for future products.

 

It gives different products a common operating platform which allows us to develop new features more quickly. The benefit to the customer is that the user interface becomes the same for lots of different products, making configuration easier.

 

Although the products have a built in web server for configuration, customers can also use a command line interface (CLI) for configuration and monitoring. There is a specific user guide for the CLI which is applicable to all WeOS based products. You can download the latest guide by clicking on the link for the WeOS Management Guide.
